EZ Fly Program

If you want to spray with drones, commercially or on your own ground, the FAA side is usually the slowest part. A Part 137 certificate and a Section 44807 exemption take time to get, and until you have them, the drone mostly sits.

We started the EZ Fly Program so you don't have to wait. Qualified pilots fly as part of Avary Drone's operations, under our FAA 44807 exemption and Part 137 certificate, while they work on their own.

Who it's for

• Farmers who fly their own drones and want to be FAA compliant
• New applicators starting a drone spraying business
• Custom applicators adding drones to their operation

How it works

1. Call us or contact us online, and tell us about your operation.
2. Pick a drone. You can lease an XAG P150, DJI T25P, or DJI T100 from us, or bring your own spray drone if it qualifies.
3. Get your pilots qualified and trained. You'll need a Part 107 remote pilot certificate, the pesticide applicator licenses your state requires, and insurance. We'll walk you through it.
4. Fly under our exemption and certificate. DroneTrax is included for quotes, invoicing, flight and chemical records, and FAA reporting.

Getting your own certificate

EZ Fly is meant to be a bridge, not a permanent setup. We offer an optional FAA Part 137 licensing package for an additional $2,000, and many members complete it while they fly under Avary.
