Drone Aerial Applicator State License Department

Drone Aerial Applicator State License Department

Before you spray with your drone you need to be licensed by the FAA and the state in which you are spraying. Here are the links to each state's licensing department.

Many states share the same study guide. Here's a link to the National Pesticide Applicator Certification Study Guide. Also, several states have reciprocal licenses meaning you can pay to apply for a license in a reciprocal state to the state where you already have your applicator license. Check out this blog post for a list of states where your existing license can be extended through a reciprocal license.
